Eryn & Steve’s Auraria Campus Engagement Session – Denver Engagement Photographer

I have wanted to photograph an Auraria Campus engagement session in Downtown Denver for a while now and I was so excited to do it with Eryn & Steve! We met up for their engagement session last Tuesday afternoon and I’m so excited with how their photos turned out! Keep reading to see more!

We started their session in front of the iconic Tivoli Student Union. The building was built originally as the Tivoli Brewing company in 1864 and it now stands as a historical landmark in Denver. I was so excited to finally photograph here and Eryn & Steve just look great in front of the building!

Eryn & Steve met while attending the University of Colorado – Denver. They lived in the same dorm and Eryn was Steve’s RA! Luckily she didn’t have to give him any write-ups while they were in school and they eventually fell in love! They wanted to return to their alma mater for their engagement photos and I’m so glad they did.

After leaving the Tivoli quad, we headed over to St. Cajetan’s Church on the Auraria Campus property. This church is absolutely gorgeous, the pick and green exterior complimented Eryn & Steve’s Auraria Campus engagement session perfectly!

Auraria’s parking garage is known to be one of the best views of the city from the west and I can see why! It was a little stormy before our session but the skies opened up just in time to get us beautiful light and dramatic clouds over the city.

We ended Eryn & Steve’s Auraria Campus engagement session where it all began: at their dorm! I thought this additional touch was so awesome and I was really excited when Eryn mentioned the idea. Plus, while we were photographing, a group of college boys living in the dorm became Eryn & Steve’s hype men!
