I'm Ashlyn Victoria Kile, a sparkle loving, pink obsessed, wanderlusting wedding photographer living in beautiful Colorado. I have three huge passions: photography, travel, and weddings! My goal as a wedding photographer is to give you an amazing experience, one as unique and authentic as your love!

I’ll be honest with you. Growing up, I never even considered that I would become a photographer. I was unsure what I wanted to do but the artist in my head was just itching to get out! I discovered the art of capturing fleeting moments; from a British couple lost in their own world overlooking the Thames River, to a Japanese deer thieving a boy’s notebook out of his hands. That discovery has sparked a love for photography and my business started growing. And while I never dreamed of being a wedding photographer as a kid, I'm so glad my journey took me here.

It is the little in-between moments that show the depth of your relationship and the uniqueness of you! I capture joyful, romantic, and honest images for couples who believe in true love and happy endings. First looks are my favorite part of the day! Your wedding goes by incredibly fast and is usually super stressful. Couples are so busy entertaining guests and wrangling family that they forget what this day is truly about: them! The first look gives you and your partner a quiet time alone to enjoy your best day together. Plus it cuts your nerves in half, I promise!

The First Look

You've spent 1, maybe 2 years meticulously crafting every single inch of your wedding. You scoured Pinterest for wedding decoration ideas. You ordered a whole bunch of invitation samples to find the perfect one. You may have even DIY'ed your wedding and crafted for hours on end. But guess what, you won't even see it! The day goes by in such a blur, you won't notice all those details you worked so hard on! I love photographing those details so you can look back on them and see your hard work come together!

Like I said before, this day is about YOU! Your friends and family have gathered from all over to celebrate you and your love! And that love comes out beautifully once we are alone for your couples portraits. We try to get far away from the hustle and bustle of your cocktail hour so the two of you can have a wonderful moment together.

I started this list with the first look, so I gotta end it with the first dance! Even if a couple hates dancing and have four left feet combined, something magical happens during a first dance. Once the music starts, the rest of the world seems to melt away and it is just you and your partner out on that dance floor. It is a beautiful moment to capture. Plus, I love learning more about my couples based on the first dance song that they chose!
