Eryn & Steve’s Fall Lake Engagement Session – Colorado Engagement Photographer

Eryn & Steve are back for a second engagement session! This time, we added in beautiful fall colors, a stunning alpine lake, and the most adorable dog! While prepping for their wedding next year, Eryn & Steve wanted to include their pup in the wedding planning. So they decided to do a second fall lake engagement session to have him in their photos. So…everybody meet Earl! He was the absolute sweetest and did great! I love when couples bring their dogs to their engagement session, it’s so fun to include the whole family!

We met up last week at Brainard Lake for their fall lake engagement session and the colors were popping! Brainard doesn’t have any aspens directly next to the lake but there is no shortage of fall colors. The ground foliage is absolutely stunning and there are some aspens close by for those classic yellow leaves! This lake is definitely one of my favorite spots for engagement sessions, it has it all!

I loved the outfits Eryn & Steve chose for their fall lake engagement session. Steve stayed in a simple long sleeve, button down shirt and it looks amazing on him! Eryn switched between a beautiful dark green sweater to pop against the fall colors and an adorable tan sweater to fit the autumn aesthetic.
