Before the wedding comes the engagement session, the perfect way to start your wedding photography journey! I include an engagement session with all of my wedding packages because I believe it is super important to get comfortable in front of the camera with your wedding photographer before the big day arrives! We’ll experiment with poses, see how you flow together, and you’ll get an idea of what to expect for the wedding day.
Liana & Chauncey chose to have their engagement session at Roxborough State Park, and I’m so glad they did! Since it was mid summer, the greens were in full bloom, complimenting the red rocks and making those colors pop! I personally prefer Roxborough as a location over Red Rocks! It’s quieter, and the greenery is more lush, making for some gorgeous engagement photos.
I recommended that they bring two outfits to their session, one casual choice and one a little bit dressier. This gives the session more variety and uniqueness! The outfits they chose were cute and highlighted them perfectly! When choosing outfits for your engagement session, be sure to pick outfits that highlight your features and compliment the location well, like Liana & Chauncey did here!
