Liana & Chauncey booked me to shoot their summer wedding in 2020 and, well, we all know what happened there. Determined to move forward with their nuptials, they moved their wedding into Liana’s parent’s backyard. I suggested we go to a separate location for their bridal portraits and we landed on the Hudson Gardens in Littleton. And it turned out beautifully!
I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t nervous to shoot a backyard wedding. It was new for me, but such a sign of the times for 2020 so I was excited to capture the moment. Day of, they had the backyard decorated so beautifully, you couldn’t even tell it was a backyard! The new setting made the wedding so intimate and romantic.
After the reception, we whisked off to the Hudson Gardens for Liana & Chauncey’s bridal portraits. The place can be super empty sometimes which makes it easy for portraits, and luckily that day was no exception! We got to explore the whole property and take some gorgeous photos at all the locations the Hudson Gardens has to offer. We ended the day with all smiles, the bride and groom off to a 7/11 to get some celebratory free July 11th slurpees. What a great end to the day!
Thanks Liana & Chauncey!
