Jessica and Dustin are engaged! We celebrated by heading to the Denver Botanic Gardens – York Street for their romantic engagement session. I have been wanting to shoot a botanic gardens engagement for the longest time and I’m so happy that I go to with these two! They look absolutely incredible together and flow so well in front of the camera. Keep reading to see their beautiful engagement photos.
We started their session in the orangery, one of my favorite places in the gardens! The light is incredible inside and it’s a fun different location than the rest of the gardens. Then we headed to the 松風園 Shofu-en Japanese inspired gardens to shoot amongst the wooden arches and the authentic Japanese tea house. Next came the Monet Pool and the gorgeous gardens around it. I love shooting at the Monet Pool because we always get beautiful reflections in the water! June’s PlantAsia is another great garden because of the adorable archways. Plus the bamboo is so fun to pose in! But my absolute favorite place in the whole park is the Woodland Mosaic Solarium! The green patinaed solarium is tucked into the trees, making it the perfect little oasis away from the rest of the gardens. We ended our shoot at the romantic gardens section, with the beautiful Waring House and tree-lined lawns.
Wandering around the gardens with Jessica and Dustin was so much fun! Thanks for everything guys, and enjoy your wedding in beautiful Maui!
