Picture this . . . you’ve been with your partner for a while, you love the crap out of them and they you, you want to spend the rest of your life with them, and you trust them with your whole life. So what do you do?
You lie like hell to their face.
You lie like hell to give them the best surprise ever: a proposal! Such a big surprise like this can be difficult to pull off, but when it works, it’s ah-may-zing! Just like this proposal was!
Joe reached out to me wanting to capture his proposal to Olivia. Our original plan was to head to Mount Falcon-East with the beautiful Red Rocks Amphitheater in the background. But Mother Nature had other plans and we had to pivot super last minute. We changed our plan to a cute river walk in Morrison and Joe had to think on his feet to get Olivia there! He told her they were checking out a beer garden and when they got there, she just wanted to go sit down and get some beer while Joe insisted they go on a little walk first. Little did she know that at the end of the walk was a ring!
She was so surprised and said YES, obviously! We finished the proposal with some portraits by the river and then we headed up to Mount Falcon to sneak in some photos before the rain barreled our way! We capped it off by barely getting into our cars before the wall of rain hit us. (And a speeding ticket on the way home for us, but that’s besides the point here.)
Congratulations to Joe & Olivia! Have fun wedding planning!
