I lived in maui, Hawaii from 2021 to 2022 working with the incredible team at Karma Hill Photography. While I was there, I was lucky enough to do a couple projects of my own with friends. Emi & Ross got married last year in Boulder, Colorado and just happened to honeymoon in Maui, Hawaii. Emi is a middle school classmate of mine, so when I saw her Instagram posts about honeymooning in Maui, I just knew we had to meet up for some honeymoon portraits! We headed to my favorite beach at sunset and made some magic!
Photographing Emi & Ross was perfection, they posed beautifully together and were glowing with newlywed bliss! They even splashed around in the water a bit to include those fun ocean shots!
My favorite part about photographing in Hawaii was the palm trees. I was just obsessed with them! Their green palms look gorgeous on camera and pair with the blue of the ocean perfectly. Not to mention, when the afternoon sun shines through the palms…it makes my photographer heart so happy!
At the end of our shoot, the sky opened up and gave us the most beautiful Maui sunset, a perfect end to Emi & Ross’s honeymoon portraits.
